As a means of advancing our mission, a major objective of Jazz Audience Advocates is to present our unique educational material in a number of languages on this site. This makes sense for a number of reasons.

First, it is apparent to everyone that our country is becoming more culturally diverse and as we continue to learn how to manage it, it becomes a tremendous strength to us as a nation. So, relative to the US, while it wouldn’t have made sense to offer the Jazz Audience Advocates educational program in, for example, Hindi and Arabic fifteen years ago, the benefits of doing so now are obvious.

Secondly, jazz, an original and uniquely American art form, is increasingly becoming a global music. We wish to assure the continued worldwide growth and development of the jazz audience. We feel that multiple language versions of these web-based listening tutorials will help to accomplish this objective.
